Can Ricart _ Barcelona

We located the project in the Can Ricart area, one of the most unique places in the city of Barcelona. Considered today the heritage of the city. The configuration of this residential building is based on the interaction of the public space and the private space. The building generates a misalignment in consideration of the existing plot. The idea of generating an axis in the interior of the plot and dividing it into two segments gives us the opportunity to maintain a contact between the street and Can Ricart. The staging of the piece is justified by the idea of wanting to live continuously in community, sharing and showing the contidious life through this idea of an open vision among the inhabi- tants of can ricart. The configuration of the different houses is diverse to be able to generate more than one housing opportunity depending on the number of inhabitants and the type of use. The idea of having a common space and a private space on each floor, generates a direct and human relationship between the inhabitants of the building.
